Eberstein Castle

Eberstein Castle has stood above the Murg valley in Baden-Württemberg for more than 700 years, founded in 1272 by Otto I of Eberstein on a rocky outcrop roughly 130 metres above the valley floor, at the point where the deeply cut middle Murgtal opens into the broader valley around Gernsbach.
